House Fresnaye 2.0

SCOPE – Interior design & Furnishing
PHOTOGRAPHY – House of Zaan

This project involved the transformation of an existing lounge into a bespoke bar and entertaining space. Drawing inspiration from the home’s Victorian character, the soft pink wall colour, gentle curves, and subtle Dover White marble reflect the feminine elegance inherent in the architecture. The pink hue was further informed by the neighbouring building, which shares the same tonal quality.

The result is a light, whimsical interior with a soft, feminine energy, where the clients’ extensive whisky collection is proudly displayed. A strong emphasis on detail and layering elevates the space — from the routed oak cabinetry and zig-zag marble island base to the smoky and fluted glass elements and refined brass accents.

Beyond this, an existing family room was reimagined as a flexible lounge accommodating both movie nights and an informal study. Particular attention was given to the ceiling, where careful coordination revealed additional height within the existing constraints, lending the space an enhanced sense of openness and ease.
